Comparison of polarization-switched QPSK and modified phase conjugated twin waves in long-haul links

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingsConference proceedingpeer-review

Abstract

We improve the encoding/decoding of polarization-switched QPSK (PS-QPSK) to enhance the performance, and show that QPSK-based modified phase-conjugated twin wave is similar to the improved PS-QPSK but provides additional gain via fiber nonlinearity mitigation.
