Abstract
In this paper we review the concept of implementation science and its use in health care, and in the area followed by implementation strategies and implementation outcomes. The use of implementation of electronic health record (EHR) implementation. We describe the theories, models, and frameworks, Process Theory (NPT) in detail, as applied to EHR implementation and workflow development.
