Abstract

The Content-and-Language-Sensitive Approach to Multilingualism in School (CaLSAM) project is an Erasmus+ initiative designed to enhance multilingual education in mathematics lessons through innovative teaching strategies and professional development. The project brings together higher education institutions from Germany, Ireland, Türkiye, Norway, and Switzerland aiming to foster inclusive, language-sensitive learning environments in mathematics education. CaLSAM is grounded in the principles of translanguaging, multilingual resource activation, and digital learning environments to support educators in implementing best practices in language-diverse classrooms.
