Abstract

The authors regret to inform that corrections had to be made to the Supplementary Information to our publication. The corrections serve to aid in the reproduction of our modelling results. They concern equation (S1) in Supplement mmc1 and the description of its use, as well as incorrectly copied values for the Ce and Pb contents of the modern MORB mantle in Table S5 of Supplement mmc2. These corrections do not affect any of the results and conclusions of our publication. The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
