Anonymous tract from 1598, dedicated to the Earl of Essex, relating events in the Midlands of Ireland, Connacht and Kilkenny. From Irish State Papers, in the UK National Archives, SP63/203, no.119. The author is thought to be Hugh Collier, a messenger and government intelligencer of the period.
