Abstract

Fabrication techniques for producing high density Ba//0//. //6//5 Sr//0//. //3//5TiO//3 ceramics from metal citrate precursors are discussed. The dielectric properties of these ceramics were found to be very dependent on the grain size. The permittivity as a function of electric field and temperature has been measured and the results are compared with the Devonshire model. An increase in the transition temperature with decreasing grain size was observed and reasons for this effect are examined.
