Abstract

Choreography performed at University of Surrey. Difficult Joys was a choreographic installation performed underwater in a large glass tank; a performance accompanied by a series of ice sculptures - ice casts of Gilson-Ellis's face. The performance lasted one hour and involved writing underwater.
