Abstract

A dual circularly polarized slot antenna is presented. The design has the advantages of a shared aperture for transmission and reception and isolation enhancement by means of a complementary split-ring impressed isolator. The impedance bandwidth of the device is 25.76% centered at 4.27 GHz and the axial ratio (AR) bandwidth is 300 MHz centered at 4.72 GHz with the port-to-port isolation of 14 dB to 18 dB within this band.
