Abstract

What types of education and training interventions are available to prepare nurses/midwives to undertake Sexual Assault Forensic Examinations (SAFE)?. To answer the review question, the following objectives are defined:

To synthesise available primary studies pertinent to SAFE Nursing/Midwifery education and training.
To describe the types of education and training interventions available to prepare nurses/midwives to undertake SAFE.
To describe the outcomes of SAFE education and training for nurses/midwives.
