Abstract
Farm Carbon E.I.P. (2022-2024), led by Green Restoration Ireland, was a pilot programme that explored options for economically viable carbon farming methods in the midlands of Ireland. Through working with farmers and peatland owners, the project focused on initiatives that enhanced the sustainable farming of peatlands. This report contains the findings and analysis of the social and economic impact of Farm Carbon E.I.P., as well as capturing the practical, positive, and negative aspects of its delivery and some considerations for its future.
