N2 - Being able to ensure the viability of a renewable energy source (RES) installation is always the first obstacle to be overcome before making any investment. This is especially important when the installation is not going to be made use commercially and is not going to return benefits in the short or long term. This proposal shows the practical application of a SW tool developed for energy, financial and environmental feasibility studies to a demand from non-governmental organizations (NGOs) missions located in Ethiopia to study the possibility of installing photovoltaic generation plants to supply their basic school and dispensary facilities.
