Filter impact in spectrally-broadened rayleigh noise reduction schemes for DWDM-PONs

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingsChapterpeer-review

Abstract

We present the results of a model for phase modulated spectrally-broadened Rayleigh backscaltering noise reduction scheme employed in centralized light source DWDM-PONs. Good agreement with experiments is demonstrated, and different optical filtering strategies are investigated.
