Abstract

The symposium gathered a group of academics who are providing new insights into the study of mendicant orders. The academics included: Professor Janet Burton (Professor Emerita at University of Wales Trinity Saint David and a Visiting Professor at the University of Reading), Dr Malgorzata Krasnodebska-D'Aughton (UCC), Prof. John McCafferty (UCD), Dr Anne-Julie Lafaye (National Monuments Service), Dr Yvonne McDermott (ATU), Dr Natasha Dukelow (UCC), Dr Colmán O Clabaigh (Glenstal) and Dr Edel Bhreathnach (Independent).
