Abstract
Based on the structure of Miles Davis' iconic piece - So What - this piece combines a jig time melody with a rhythm section playing in 6/4 and4/4 time simultaneously. The left hand voicings of the B section of the piece recall the voicings in fourths techniques utilised by such masters as McCoy Tyner and Chick Corea. This piece crosses boundaries between Celtic, Jazz and World Music.
