Abstract

A standard methodology for stability tests of mound breakwaters was implemented on the occasions of a research project involving the seven Spanish maritime engineering laboratories. The relevant aspects were wave generation, model construction, experimental set-up, testing procedure and information management. A dissipation beach was installed so as to minimize reflections at the end of each flame. Both undirectional and multidirectional waves were used in the case of the wave basins.
