Abstract

The novel iodinated radioligand, scrotonin-5-O-carboxymcthyl-glycyl[125I]tyrosinamide. was used for binding studies with membranes of human substantia nigra. Evidence is provided for the existence in this tissue of a homogeneous population of recognition sites with the pharmacological profile of the 5-HT1D site.
