Within the HCI community there are examples of implicit and explicit forms of health activism as well as sub-communities adopting an activist approach to address issues of social justice that ultimately influence the social determinants of health. This SIG aims to bring together these groups of HCI scholars to outline an agenda for health activism and research—identifying and highlighting characteristics of this burgeoning domain.",
