Abstract

This paper presents a parameterised implementation of a Hermitian decoder. We will briefly describe each part of the codec, starting with the mathematical formulation of the problem, moving on to the algorithmic design and finally the techniques we used to increase the speed, reduce the storage requirements, and improve the efficiency of the codec.
