Abstract
A study was performed on the improvement of time-delayed feedback control by periodic modulation. The time-delayed feedback control schemes, which were based on the unstable modes of the target state, to stabilize unstable periodic orbits was investigated. An external time scale in the control process was introduced by the periodic time dependence of these modes.
