Improving the healthcare experiences of transgender and gender diverse youths: A Mixed Method Systematic Review Protocol.

The aim of this review is to identify and critically analyse the effect of interventions used to improve the healthcare experiences of transgender and gender diverse (TGD) youths. The review objectives include: (i) identifying types of interventions to improve the healthcare experiences of TGD youths; (ii) identifying the effect of interventions implemented to improve the healthcare experiences of TGD youths, (iii) critically evaluating the element(s) of the intervention (e.g., structure and provision) aiming to improve experiences of TGD youths and (iv) identify the experiences of TGD youth, and healthcare staff working in paediatric settings of the interventions used.
