Abstract
Pharmacists are increasingly recognised as valuable members of multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) in mental health care, contributing to safer and more effective use of psychotropic medications. While their role is well-established in inpatient psychiatric settings, their integration into outpatient psychiatry services remains less defined and under-researched. As mental health care continues to shift toward community-based and ambulatory models, understanding the potential impact of pharmacists in outpatient psychiatry is crucial for optimising service delivery and patient outcomes. This systematic review aims to synthesise the current evidence on outcomes associated with pharmacist involvement in outpatient psychiatry settings.
