Iterative block decision feedback equalization for IM/DD-OCDM system to mitigate Cd-induced fading

Abstract

We propose an IM/DD-OCDM system with IB-DFE algorithm to mitigate chromatic-dispersion-induced fading and the results confirm that the BER performance can be improved by up to three orders of magnitude by compensating the fading effect.
