Abstract

This paper presents a novel low power non-recursive comb decimation filter, in which a decimation factor M is a power of two. The design goal was to decrease a power consumption of a traditional non-recursive structure, while satisfying the desired minimum aliasing attenuation in all folding bands. The implementation analysis and comparisons with the traditional non-recursive structure in terms of a power consumption and area are provided.
