Abstract
Gianfranco Luzzetti, a largely self-taught connoisseur and art dealer, significantly contributed to the Milanese and Florentine art markets from the 1950s onward. Beginning with a modest shop in Milan, his business expanded to include high-value pieces, attracting elite clientele. Eventually relocating to Florence, he specialized in baroque masters and played a crucial role in revitalizing the International Biennial Antiques Fair. Luzzetti's legacy includes a substantial donation of art to the municipality of Grosseto, showcasing prominent works and enhancing public access to Italian art.
