Non-recursive comb-decimation filter with an improved alias rejection

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingsChapterpeer-review

Abstract

This paper presents a novel comb-based non-recursive decimation filter, in which the decimation factor M is a power of two. The goal was to improve the aliasing rejection in the first folding band as an expense of a slight modification of a traditional non-recursive structure. The implementation analysis and the comparisons with the traditional non-recursive structure, in terms of power consumption and area, are provided.
