On efficient non-recursive comb decimator structure for M=3n

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingsChapterpeer-review

Abstract

This paper presents an efficient comb non-recursive structure in which the decimation factor can be represented as a power of three. The proposed structure can be used for two different design goals: an improvement of the first folding band attenuation, and a decrease of the power consumption while keeping the desired minimum attenuations in all folding bands. The method is illustrated with two examples which are implemented in CMOS technology 0.18μm.
