Optical properties of flowing bovine blood in vitro

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperpeer-review

Abstract

The absorption and scattering coefficients of flowing bovine blood were investigated. Linearly polarized light was used to study the anisotropy and the scattering properties of the whole blood. The optical thickness of the blood, and the related deformation properties of red blood cells was evaluated.
