Optomechanical response spectrum of a tapered fiber coupled microsphere pendulum

Abstract

We study the noise spectrum arising from absorptive and dispersive modulations to the motion of a micropendulum via transmission through the coupling tapered fiber. The observed asymmetrical line shape matches theoretical predictions.
