Porous silicon matrix as mineral microreservoir

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingsConference proceedingpeer-review

Abstract

The diffusion phenomenon of metallic atoms in porous structure has been investigated with the aim to establish the most suitable process for obtaining an uniform impregnation. Different materials as: Fe, Mg, K, Ag, Au in a variety preparation condition were experimented, with applications in biology. Put into the human body, under the skin, the PS matrix with metals will be resorbable, slowly releasing these minerals.
