Abstract

PANIC is an object-oriented simulation tool, an approach which allows flexibility in building, analyzing and creating circuits. Parallelism is exploited at three levels geographic, subcircuit and component level. PANIC is applied to a number of power system studies demonstrating the feasibility of the approach.
