Regulation of extracellular ligninolytic and cellulolytic enzyme production in the white rot fungus Trametes versicolor

Research output: Contribution to conferencePaperpeer-review

Abstract

cDNAs encoding laccase and a novel manganese peroxidase from Trametes versicolor have been overexpressed in the heterologous host Aspergillus awamori. T. versicolor cellobiose dehydrogenase and cellobiohydrolase DNA fragments have also been cloned enabling the study of cellulolytic transcriptional regulation under different physiological conditions.
