Abstract
Accelerators that use the T(d,n)4 He reaction to generate 14-MeV neutrons are discussed. Most of the discussion concerns the Rotating Target Neutron Source II (RTNS-II) facility, which was the most intense source of fusion neutrons. Typical characteristics and operating parameters are given. A brief outline of the irradiation program carried out at RTNS-II is provided.
