Abstract
A thesis exploring the many encounters between human and nonhuman "animal-things" in the natural history museum space. Three case study museums are discussed (NHM, Dublin; Bristol Museum; Museum national d'histoire naturelle, Paris) and analysis of encounters with specimen/objects, diorama displays, and AR installations is offered.
