Abstract
This entry explores key themes in queer sexual and reproductive health, focusing on LGBTQI+ experiences as generating productive responses to the oppressive domain of medical institutions, through self-experimentation, collective support and DIY communities. First, the entry examines sexual health as embodiment with a focus on gender-affirming care and self-experimentation. The subsequent section explores sexual health as a site of vulnerability and reproduction. This section examines matters of stigma and collective forms of care, as responses to sexually transmissible infections, alongside queer reproductive health, highlighting barriers in perinatal services and the new horizons opened by technological advancements (such as artificial wombs) and DIY procedures.
