Simultaneous control of position and emission energy of semiconductor quantum dots

Abstract

We demonstrate a simultaneous control of position and emission energy of AlGaAs/GaAs pyramidal quantum dots (QDs) grown on patterned substrates via modification of the pattern features. Applications in QD-loaded photonic crystals are discussed.
