Smart Optical Beamforming for Next Generation Wireless Empowered Communications, Power Transfer, Sensing and Displays: Building on the Past

Abstract

The Smart Optical Beamforming approach is presented for next generation wireless empowered applications. Specifically, using our prior works, the power of multiple simultaneous smart beams via optically implemented processing is highlighted for 5G/6G RF array wireless, indoor optical wireless, optical power transfer, optical sensing and optical displays. Novel optical techniques are introduced for the proposed wireless applications.
