Abstract
The 2005 International Conference on Grid Computing and 2005 International Conference on Internet Computing was held in 27-30 June 2005, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. the main objective of the International Multi-Conferenceseries is to create an international scientific forum for presentation and discussion of research advances in Computer Science and Engineering. Twelve papers were accepted for the session, selected from forty two submitted papers. The accepted papers include the idea of combining genetic algorithms with systems when failures may occur by Hamilton-Wright and D.Stacey, a fragmented replica maintenance scheme foenvironmentsonemnts to minimize waste of storage space due to storing unnecessary file portions by R.S. Chang and P.H. Chen, and an algorithm for scheduling job workflows on multiple machines/resources in order to minimize completion time in component-based networks by S. Lee, S. Kumara and N. Gautam.
