Structure and dynamics of nonaqueous mixtures of dipolar liquids. I. Infrared and far-infrared spectroscopy

Abstract

A study was carried out to explore the structure and dynamics of mixtures of acetone/methanol, acetonitrile/methanol, and acetone/acetonitrile over their entire range of compositions. The infrared and far-infrared spectra of the mixtures were determined. The spectra were interpreted along with the molecular dynamics simulation results.
