Abstract

We present a genome assembly from a specimen of Patella ulyssiponensis (China Limpet; Mollusca; Gastropoda; Patellidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 693.56 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.78%) is scaffolded into 8 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 14.94 kilobases. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 21 151 protein-coding genes.
