Abstract

This study published by the Commission for the Support of Victims of crime & Department of Justice and Law Reform, is based on research with victims of crime and their families and with relevant professionals from the support and criminal justice systems. The research identifies a range of issues which make the experience of crime more difficult for victims and makes recommendations for changes in relation to the practices of crime support organisations, the gardai and the courts.
