Wavelength switched fiber-optically controlled ultrasonic intracavity probes

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

A new fiber-optic control system for intracavity ultrasonic probes have extremely low loss, are highly flexible, lightweight, electromagnetic interference-free, has very wide radio frequency bandwidth optical energy guides. These properties minimize fiber optic interconnection complexity and provides a simple and powerful tool for intracavity medical applications.
