Abstract

IMS2010 has offered 32 workshops and 3 IMS short courses to Microwave Week attendees that will be helpful in improving focus and maintaining the high-quality standards of IMS workshops. The topics of workshops include Software defined radio for microwave applications, advances in filtering and sampling for integrated transceivers, and ultrawideband (UWB) technology: the state-of-the-art and applications. The workshops also include subjects such as power management for integrated RF circuits: challenges and solutions and high-efficiency, high-power microwave amplifiers for high data rate space communications. The short courses include theory and design of phase locked loops (PLL), low phase noise oscillators, and microwave and millimeter-wave packaging and manufacturing 101.
