Dr. Hunt’s research is underpinned by population health, positive youth development, ecological and occupational perspectives of health; and developmental neuroscience. Her current teaching and research interests are in applying a public health model of Occupational Therapy in adolescent mental health, with particular interest in universal health promotion and prevention occupation-based lifestyle interventions. Eithne’s reputation as an evidence-based thought leader has led to invited keynotes for 2nd/3rd level education and health professionals across Ireland, relating to her work on college student wellbeing, adolescent development, occupational therapy in child and adolescent mental health and workplace wellbeing. Eithne has a university, national and international profile in innovating and promoting curricular and whole-university approaches to wellbeing.
