    críochnughadh nimhe as nua sgiamh.
    ceann na dtreabh treabh ar nar cinneadh
    teagh as fhearr dá rinneadh riamh.
  2. Teagh ann nach fuil fuacht ná íota
    ná ocaras ná ól gann
    do dhealbh Dia fa a thoil an teagh-sain
    ní fhoil 's ní bhia easbhaidh ann.
  3. Do shuidhigh Dia i gceann a chéile
    na cathracha gan cheo ndiagh
    is saor snoighe na seacht nimhe
    seacht dtoighe as ghile ná an grian.
  4. Obair mhór nar mhór don Dúileamh
    do dhealbh talmhain mar tá an sdair
    an bioth cé go réidh do roighne
    is é féin as oidhre air.

    Rí na ndúl an rí do roinne

    an cleas ad chí cia do fhéadfadh

  13. Do ní fuacht i n-aimsir theasbhaigh
    is teasbhaigh an tann nach díor
    beathadh a shlóigh ó 'd chí ag claonadh
    do ní dhóibh saobhadh na síon.
  14. Do bheir tuile ar dtráigh céadna
    don chuan fós gá fiorta as lia
    is é do ní tráigh don tuile
    ní fáidh ní rí duine ag Dia.

    féaghadh a leacht lór do sheanmhóir

    a aimsear budh olc an bhail
    síodh an Rí ad chíom ar n-a chneas-ghoin

  29. A chéasadh ó 'dchíd sa teampull
    toirneamh dhó dleaghaid an slógh
    ón ló déachtair ar a dheallradh
    gan sléachtain dó is meadhradh mór.

    d'éis a chrochaidh creid go mair
    a-tá dhóibh cuid i n-a chrochadh
