    críochnughadh nimhe as nua sgiamh.
    ceann na dtreabh treabh ar nar cinneadh
    teagh as fhearr dá rinneadh riamh.
  2. Teagh ann nach fuil fuacht ná íota
    ná ocaras ná ól gann
    do dhealbh Dia fa a thoil an teagh-sain
    ní fhoil 's ní bhia easbhaidh ann.
  3. Do shuidhigh Dia i gceann a chéile
    na cathracha gan cheo ndiagh
