	GeneralDescription	Each panel of the granite North Cross at Castledermot Co. Kildare has a separate raised frame. The cross and base have roll mouldings around their edges.

	Head	Centre Adam and Eve, Old Testament. Book of Genesis. Eve gives the apple to Adam. The serpent is wound around the tree and faces Eve. Top of Cross Head: this depiction is subject to a lot of scholarly debate. One suggestion is David delivered from Goliath.
