GeneralContext Broken remains of large ringless cross.
Location St. Oran's Chapel, now in Nunnery Museum.
GeneralContext Stone type: mica-granulite of reddish-grey colour
Dimensions 1.82 m was the height of the shaft, now broken in two, original width was about 0.55 m, maximum preserved thickness is 0.11 m.
GeneralDescription Front of upper arm of the shaft. Lower part of this shows two leonine beasts, set back-to-back, with their heads turned inwards. The ends of their tails are intertwined. Above these there are four roundels composed of small bosses and trumpet spirals, and serpent shapes.
