Biography

Anne-Marie Curtin is the administrator on the Athena SWAN Project in UCC.  Just prior to taking up this role, she was (acting) Undergraduate Programmes Administrator in the School of Law, where she had worked as Faculty, and then School, Administrator since 2008.  She graduated from UCC with a BSc in Geology in 1995 and has since gone on to gain a PG Dip in Fire Safety Management (TCD), a HDip in Journalism (IAPR), an MA in Environmental Resource Management (NUIM) and most recently an MA in Women's Studies (UCC).  She worked for many years in the building industry for architects and engineers (as well as working as a sole trader), preparing fire safety and planning permission applications, and has also worked in London for a large multi-national.

Women's place in the workplace, men's place in the home (MA dissertation: From Kitchen Table to Cabinet Table: Development of Parental Leave Policy and Practice in Ireland)
