	GeneralContext	This is an image of the sandstone cross known as St. Patrick's Cross at Cashel in Co. Tipperary. It was moved indoors in 1981 in between the Hall of the Vicar's Choral and the entrance to the old cathedral. The cross is 3.4 m high. It rests on a base that is traditionaly regarded as the stone on which the kings of Cashel were crowned.
